I am one of the founders of OpenCredo an IT consultancy firm focused on open source. OpenCredo provides consultancy to improve the productivity of enterprise development teams though effective use of open source technologies and adoption of agile practices such as Scrum. Prior to founding OpenCredo I was a senior consultant with SpringSource the company behind the renowned Spring framework. I specialise in highly concurrent systems, Open Source adoption and improving developer productivity using Agile test focused approaches. I also commit to the Spring Integration project Spring’s Enterprise Application Integration and messaging framework.
Before moving into the open source world I worked for a number of telco focused start ups in Cambridge, England. I continue to live in the Mill Road area of Cambridge which purely coincidentally has the best ale pubs in the area. These days I can also often be found messing about on the river as part of the Cambridge City Rowing Club novice squad.
